1.0 out of 5 stars Pay $50 for something publicly available?, January 4, 2009
This review is from: Bernard L. Madoff Charged In Multi-Billion Dollar Ponzi Scheme: Complaint Filed In Federal Court And Application For Emergency Relief (Paperback)
How very appropriate -- to try to sell for $50 some public Madoff documents that are easily available online. Well, at least the rip-off is only $50, not $50 billion.

1.0 out of 5 stars It's public record, don't pay for it., January 8, 2009

Why is there so much hatred of Bernard L. Madoff? What about the other folks? We're told it was a classic Ponzi scheme - robbing peter to pay paul? I think some of the investors are to be blamed for being greedy and tossing every nickel and dime in the hopes of obtaining a windfall. And what do charities have to do with making a profit? It certainly casts the motive behind these charities in a questionable light. I think the investors created Madoff's fiasco, not the other way around. I think anyone who invested in these charities should question the judgment of the executors of these charities: it may be proven that there was a breach of fiduciary obligation, the highest standard of care at common law. Instead of just investigating Madoff, let's investigate the investors.
