This seven-piece set of Berndes Tradition cookware includes a 9-1/2-inch skillet, 11-inch saute pan with lid, 2-quart saucepan with lid, and 7-quart stockpot with lid. Berndes Tradition cookware is manufactured using vacuum-pressure casting. High-grade aluminum alloys are melted and forced into a mold, ensuring the absence of air bubbles and resulting in a thick base, thin sides, no interior rivets, lightweight construction, and a perfectly flat bottom that never warps. The aluminum base delivers excellent heat distribution and is perfect for gas, electric, and ceramic stovetops.
The cookware's interior and exterior nonstick surfaces ensure easy cleanup and the coating is guaranteed to never chip, crack, peel, blister, or come off. The nonstick surface allows the user to cook by adding little or no fat. Berndes does nonstick right--in 1975, DuPont and Berndes were the first companies to launch nonstick cookware in Europe. Users are not recommended to use metal utensils with Tradition cookware.
The cookware's rustic wooden handles are cool to the touch on the stovetop. In addition, the cookware may be used in the oven when wrapped with foil. Tradition cookware should not be washed in the dishwasher, as the handles may dry out from the heat.

I have been using Berndes cookware since the day I bought my first piece at a sale my local hardware store was having. They had one of the traditions 9 1/2 fry pan with lid for practically nothing. I took it home and was blown away by the quality and durability of this little pan. I then looked on the web and discovered they were of reasonably high value. I ordered a few more pieces from Amazon and eventually threw out all of my Calphalon and other cookware. I have my family and friends in the process of converting to Berndes also (one skillet as a Christmas gift is all it takes).
You simply are not going to find better cookware in this price range. Don't waste money on Calphalon, W.Puck, Pampered Chef, or any other cookware in the High-end consumer range. Just buy Berndes and be happy.

A Great Set,

We've been using this set for over a year now and it still holds up great to any challenging meal after all this time. Even with the wear of everyday use the set still maintains its integrity while evenly heating and cooking all varieties of food to perfection. We've never had an issue with food sticking to the surface while cooking or during clean up. The cast aluminum and non-stick coating has been a dream. I would recommend the Berndes line of cookware to anyone seriously interested in cooking quality meals.

The Berndes Tradition 7-piece set are very nice to use.
However, My friends got kitchen grips with Berndes Tradition 7-piece set, but I do not got kitch grips when I received my Berndes Tradition 7-piece set.
