I wanted a product that I could brown meat without sticking, and thats exactly what I got, and more. I was able to cook pancakes, eggs and sausage in the same pan without sticking, or the need to clean after each item...I've never been able to do that before. Being German made was a plus, because I know the Germans make superior products. I was so impressed that I bought the larger 13" sauteuse. If you're tired of crappy cookware, buy this product, you wont regret it. Berndes is a buy.

I've had this product for about six years. It's been my favorite pan and is absolutely fabulous. However, do NOT cook anything above medium heat. After six years, the nonstick coating has worn off in the middle of the pan and everything sticks to it.

That doesn't mean I don't think you should buy the pan - in fact, I'm here to purchase it again because it's that awesome. Just buy it with the realization that it's not going to last forever unless you take good care of it.
