The cookware's interior and exterior nonstick surfaces ensure easy cleanup and the coating is guaranteed to never chip, crack, peel, blister, or come off. The nonstick surface allows the user to cook by adding little or no fat. Berndes does nonstick right--in 1975, DuPont and Berndes were the first companies to launch nonstick cookware in Europe. Users are not recommended to use metal utensils with Tradition cookware.
The cookware's rustic wooden handles are cool to the touch on the stovetop. In addition, the cookware may be used in the oven when wrapped with foil. Tradition cookware should not be washed in the dishwasher, as the handles may dry out from the heat.

What can one say about a lid? I hesitated to order the lid because it cost more than I thought it should, but I needed a lid that size. Now that I have it, I'm glad I ordered it--the quality far exceeds my expectations.

Thank goodness someone still makes standard see-thru lids! Much preferred to the standard lids.
