I too had to put the book down,

Though I loved all of the other bessledorf books, I thought some parts of the book were sort of scary. I didn't think the other books were this way at all. This book gave me a chill down my spine. I suggest all of the other books about Bernie Magruder and his friends, except this one. I can't mention any specific scary parts without giving away the storyline, though. I had to put this book down, after I'd gone quite a ways through it. After reading it, I didn't ever want to read another bessledorf book again- but I only had one left to read, I picked it up, and it was fantastic compared to this one!

Page turner, but not an "on the edge of your seat" book.,

Bernie and the Bessledorf Ghost is very creatively written. I was dissapointed whenever I had to put the book down, because you're always wanting to know what happens the next time the Bessledorf Ghost visits the family in their hotel apartment.
