This book gives general information about a various different selections of nuts, seeds, and berries. It is wonderful, my 8 year old sister found it to be quite fun and learned much from it. This book would be great for any child wanting to learn and have fun. I would suggest it for ages 5-11

Great book and series...I have every book and the kids and I enjoy the ease of using all of them.

I'm getting them all if that tells you anything. These pack a lot of info in a fun unique way. My kids carry them everywhere and have started really "Investigating". I have a lot of nature books but this series is my favorite so far. My children are 5 years apart and it works just as well for both of them while making me happy with real facts.

This book contains descriptions for 10 berries, 8 tree nuts and 10 different seeds. It is an okay book for Wisconsin. For each description, it contains what it looks like, predators that eat it, and an interesting fact. The illustrations are nice because they contain both a close up view and a farther away view. The projects are very doable by 8-12 year olds with little needed help from parents. I would highly recommend this for any kid that likes to be outside and exploring nature.
