5.0 out of 5 stars Makes a great quick Tuna Alfredo
LMAO at these reviews. One guy says the "cheese and garlic are overpowering"
and another guy says you cant taste any cheese or garlic. Hilarious.

Anyway, Bertolli makes a good product and this is one of their most versatile.
Its got a mild garlic flavor that wont offend anybody, and if you want more
cheese you're gonna add it anyway... they do at...

2.0 out of 5 stars little cheese flavor
This is basically a cream sauce; there is some garlic taste, but very little cheesy flavor. It's a good base for adding your own flavors to, though it's kind of expensive to use it for that.

Its got a mild garlic flavor that wont offend anybody, and if you want more
cheese you're gonna add it anyway... they do at restaurants you know! You can
even make Cream Chipped Beef on Toast with this stuff, and that makes a great
surprise breakfast with poached eggs.

And to anybody that grew up eating "Tuna Helper" and is just too embarrased to
buy that box, this sauce + frozen green peas + fettucine and a can or two of
tuna and you are all set. Its better than it sounds.

Course this stuff is also great for making a classic Alfredo. Impress your friends,
tell em its homemade.

5.0 out of 5 stars terrific quick food, May 23, 2007
This review is from: Bertolli Alfredo Sauce (Misc.)
This is such a great sauce to make a quick primavera. We use Lundberg brown rice pasta, veggies cooked in butter stir fry fashion, and chicken. A little extra fresh grated pamesan, and voila. A quick but favorite family meal. Try this sauce!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good and creamy, September 24, 2011

This is a creamy sauce, with a mild but pleasant flavor. It has just enough garlic to enhance the flavor, but not so much that it overpowers it. I had it with spinach and cheese ravioli, which it complemented very well. The pasta it would suit best would be fettuccine, which should be coated with the sauce by thoroughly mixing it.

In addition to going well with vegetable pasta dishes, it would be good with shrimp, chicken or chopped ham. With any of those, adding onion and mushrooms would help it along, and black pepper would top it off nicely.

There is a slight but distinct garlic aftertaste, so you might want to be careful about socializing afterwards with anyone who has not shared the meal with you!

too pricey for the quantity and it doesn't taste any better than ones you can get at walmart or other locations.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not very good, January 10, 2011

My wife totally hated the sauce. It's garlic and cheese flavor is over powering and was not a hit on our pasta dinner. She will not allow me to ever purchase this item again.
