Excellent Messianic Edition!, October 2, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Besorat HaMashiach: Good News of the Messiah (Paperback)
Finally for Messianics there is a version which is literal in translation, based on a Majority Text, in Modern English, and is light in it's usage of Hebrew and Aramaic names, making for easy reading for devotions and study. The inclusion of the Psalms, Proverbs, as well as the appendix with Glossary, Prophecies, Parallel's between Moses and Yeshua, and the Maps- with alternative locations for Abraham's Ur, routes of the Exodus from Egypt, and Eretz-Israel in the 1st century, add significantly to the value of the translation.

Very Good News of the Messiah, October 3, 2003
This review is from: Besorat HaMashiach: Good News of the Messiah (Paperback)
It is a pleasure to read this book. It has a comfortable feel as you read the Bible in a way that places you back in the origional context. Messianic terminology conveys the origional meaning of the words. I have found this good news to be comfortable, smooth reading that brings me into the context of my Jewish people. A book like this is very much needed to bring us back to a more accurate translation of the scriptures. A translation that has not been compromised by 2000 years of a culture foreign to the Jewish people. As a Jewish person I recommend this book.

A Faithful and Intimate Fellowship with Messiah, October 2, 2003
This review is from: Besorat HaMashiach: Good News of the Messiah (Paperback)
This translation, combined with the formatting used in it, is so natural in its flow, you feel you are hearing a first person account of events occuring yesterday. The Messianic terms are both factual and illuminating, bringing the reader to a clearer view of the Jewishness of the Bible and the early church. I highly reccommend this edition - you won't be reading from a schedule, but captivated - unable to put it down. You will be blessed.
