Project saver
These deep reach clamps proved to be invaluable in making a mechanical wood model. As every woodworker knows, you can never have too many clamps!

low profile head design for closer positioning
I had bought some other clamps but found clearance a problem but these Bessey clamps require have as much and work much better. I wish they made a 4" or even a 5" "deep clamp but this is the largest I have found from anyone. I rated it 4 stars as the end piece on the threaded section that swivels is not a good design and can break off at which point the clamp...

I had bought some other clamps but found clearance a problem but these Bessey clamps require have as much and work much better. I wish they made a 4" or even a 5" "deep clamp but this is the largest I have found from anyone.I rated it 4 stars as the end piece on the threaded section that swivels is not a good design and can break off at which point the clamp is not usable. The metal at this point is less than 1/8" in diameter and any lateral strain can cause it to fail. Good clamp but important to have a couple spares so when the swivel tip breaks off you have a backup clamp handy. |
