Reverse the action of the DuoKlamp from clamping to spreading with a simple twist of the mini-dial. Switch between clamping and spreading without taking the tool apart. Ergonomic parallel handle with pump lever is to tighten clamping pressure. Fast adjustment release lever allows you to quickly slide up or down to clamping position. Large impact and fracture resistant jaws are made of reinforced polyamide. Unique centered jaw configuration facilitates clamping on all four edges. Includes four plastic caps that can be moved for spreading. 3.25" depth x 6" length

Very short lived!,

In no time these clamps started failing. They will not lock up when trying to tighten them. I have six, all junk. A note to Bessey went unanswered.

Wrong, Wrong, Wrong information,

Please note that this is about the information on Amazon's site. NOT THE CLAMP! The clamp is excellent and easily deserves 5 stars. The information on the 6" clamp is messed up. The "Product Specifications" and the "Product Details" are in error, even tho the clamp is correctly described in other places on the web_page. The clamp "spread" and the clamp "width" are both 6" - the width claimed is 4". The jaw depth is 3.5" not the 2.75 or 2.67 claimed. Bessey makes two different 6" clamps. One is smaller and lighter, the other is much heavier and has a deeper jaw depth. This product is definitely the heavier clamp and, in fact, does not even appear on the Peachtree web_site.. Do not be fooled by the smaller price. It is something that Peachtree is apparently trying to discontinue. Also, beware of the fact that these errors are not recognized by Amazon. You may rack up triple shipping charges if you try to exchange these for the lighter clamp (a desirable product for small projects).
