Bessey is no longer a respectable German made product but a name printed on Chinese made imitations. For much less money, you can buy better stuff from Grizzly or Harbor Freight (not Lowes now a big Bessey outlet) who have extensive and lengthy experience getting things made fairly well in China. For similar money you can buy still good Jorgensen clamps at Home Depot, maybe Amazon if you watch your model numbers. Always check for sample variation in any case.
