These are great clamps as are all the Bessey parallel line. What I like about the newer REVO series is that they have larger jaws for increased clamping coverage over the older K-BODY series. They also come with two protective edge pads (that's those two black objects seen pictured between the jaws) that will protect your piece from possible damage caused when tightening the clamps. I've had this problem in the past with my older K-BODY clamps. These edge pads will also fit on the older K-BODY series, so inter-changing is a neat feature. Finally the packaging was super. When you read the other horror reviews about clamps arriving damaged due to poor packaging, it was such a relief to see these 12" clamps arrive in their original & sturdy Bessey carton--no problems at all! I wish all the clamps were shipped this way. I've had the opposite results with the 82" version a few months ago. But not to worry--Amazon will correct(I should add immediately correct) any issues you may have. 2-day free shipping was a cherry topping to this transaction.

Fast and free shipping with no damage, very pleased with Bessey clamps.currently own the older K bodys ( now discontiued) and with these upgrades to the Revos should make a good clamp even better!
