I recently purchased four 31" Revo clamps after having used the old-style Bessey 24" K-clamps for years. I like the larger jaws, work supports and removable caps. The parallel accuracy is dead on.

Although the caps are a nice feature, they are all a bit loose and don't stay seated on the jaws. A bit of tape helps but should that be necessary?

Also, in a little over a month I've broken two of the end clips; one when the clamp tipped over after I leaned it against a cabinet, and the other as I was trying to pry it off of the bar. They are not easy to remove and the plastic is very brittle.

I finally removed the remaining clips and made my own version of Jorgensen's parallel clamp end stand. (The Jorgensen clips are made of what looks like a fiberglass-reinforced plastic and are released with a simple spring-loaded pin.)

They are still very good clamps, but in this price range these problems shouldn't exist.

As other reviewers have pointed out, these clamps are not packaged adequately. I ordered two sets of these. Three out of the eight clamps arrived with broken end piece stops, one had one of the rivet popped out of its movable jaw, and several had been so severely jostled during transit that their top jaw protection pads had been knocked off. This is inexcusable for a product that costs this much.

I received these clamps in good shape. I had the oportunity to use them the next day and wish I would have bought them before. I normally use pipe clamps for long clamp jobs but they don't even compare to these high quality clamps. The extender worked very well and makes a very strong connection. Great Product, worth the money.

The Clamps work fine,however, the packaging needs improvement. When received most of the plastic workpiece support clips were broken. I have seen this problem written up many times in the past , but I thought that Bessey , being a reputable company, the issue would have been addressed, but no I was wrong on both counts.

I have been very satisfied buying things through Amazon until now. As other reviewers have experienced, these clamps arrived damaged as a result of obviously inadequate packaging. It wouldn't take a lot to package them in a way that would avoid this damage. Not sure whether Bessey or Amazon is responsible, but the end result is the same.

Since these are good clamps (although I do have a concern about their fragility) I wanted to keep them. I have called Bessey's customer service line repeatedly and been placed on hold for extended periods. No one ever answered and when I left messages no one returned the calls. Amazon stocks the part but they won't ship it to me and have told me to order it and then call to ask for a refund.

If you are going to buy Bessey clamps, I suggest that you purchase them locally and inspect them before leaving the store.

As other reviewers have noted, these are good clamps - I have several others of the same type and use them often - but the way amazon packs them is terrible and, as others have experienced, one arrived broken. I wrote amazon that one in the box had broken, they sent me a return label, I used the unbroken part of the box (there wasn't all that much to work with) to package that one, and sent it off. They sent me a replacement at the same time, but, even though I told them specifically that only one was broken, they sent me the full order again. This box too was broken but all the clamps were intact, but now I have to send the rest of these back too - a second return - because no one at amazon paid attention to how many were broken and no one told me to just return the whole box (which I didn't want to do since I thought that if they only sent one the possibility that one of one would come intact was a lot higher than four of four). Future buyers beware. Wait until amazon can get their act together in their packing department.

I've had this clamps for few weeks now and they've became the first one I grab when gluing my work. The extender also helps a lot for long pieces of work. sometimes Im using it standing on its head or lying on the table. Be careful though, this thing is heavy

These are great clamps. Shipment showed up quick and in good condition. Very heavy duty and should last a generation or 4!
