Light clamp for light work,

A nice inexpensive clamp for 'low pressure' use. If you are straightening boards or building boats look elsewhere for your clamping needs.
I use these for small wood and plastic projects where a light weight clamp with modest pressure delivery are perfect. The kids also like these better.

I would not have purchased these if I didn't get a great deal on them. Of course, that is the only way I purchase clamps. The best way I can review this clamp is to describe the clamp I use for similar situations. It is a Harbor Freight F-style clamp that is about 8 or 10" long. They are a little heavier than these, but similar in style. The main difference is that the HF versions have a spring type of lock to keep the head for sliding down. This clamp does not. It is an advantage or disadvantage, depending on what you are doing. At times, I was annoyed when this clamp would slide when I didn't want it to. In the end, I think the HF version wins, because it can be had for under $2. However, this is much lighter and if that is a factor with your glue ups, then this is a fine clamp.
