Not the answer to corner clamping needs, March 13, 2001
This review is from: Bessey WS-6 Angle Clamp (Tools & Home Improvement)
Frankly this clamp is not up to the quality one expects from bessey. Sure it is built like a tank. It does create a pretty good 90% angle joint, the problem I have is that it really doesn't work at all in a lot of cases. I found better solutions with strap clamps and k-body clamps in sets for cabinetry. I think I have used this clamp less than a dozen times in the past two years. Anyone want one slightly used -- cheap.

A great clamp for projects/mending., June 18, 2000

I found this clamp to be akward with loose pieces, but its the perfect tool for mending picture frames that need repair. Its biggest advantage is that it ensures that you will keep a true 90 degree angle after you've clamped your work...no need for additional measuring.

These angle clamps are great! Easy one handed operation allows you to hold your stock while tighteing the clamp. There are also slots that allow access to the ends for drilling, doweling, whatever, while the joint is gluing. These are great for frames and panel doors!

I bought the bigger clamp cause i use it for lumber and not intricate wood working like picture frames or cabinets. I mainly use it on 2x4`s and 2x2`s, it is a really handy corner clamp with easy one hand tightening but you do have to get used to using it cause there are pieces that move when you dont want it to move but after practice and consistent use it is flawless. It hold two pieces really tight together and since it is built like a tank it can hold up huge lumber without cracking or bending like the smaller corner clamps, but like i said it does take some getting used to but after that faze it is AWESOME!
