My hummers give this feeder 5 stars. Easy to hang and weight is great for our windy area.

I've purchased several feeders over the years. This is by far the best one I've had. It's glass and easy to clean. No bees can bother it. Only problem I have is a small woodpeaker with a sweet tooth, since he's able to get some of the syrup. Use this size only if you have many hummers. I don't have as many this year, so I purchased 2 smaller feeders just like the large one. Love this product!

Best-1 feeders leak. They seem to have a problem with the mold for the bottom 2 pieces. After a few weeks, it deforms, and then leaks around every rib, because they don't use a gasket . .we solved the problem by coating one of the pieces with a bit of petroleum jelly, but it is a lot of extra hassle, and could easily have been solved with a better mold for the bottom pieces. After I called them twice, (and they did not return my calls) they said not to leave them in the afternoon sun, because it heats the air in the bottle and floods the bottom, making it leak. They said that was in their instructions too, but I read them three times to be sure, and that isn't in there.

It IS easy to clean and attracts lots of birds

Easy to disassemble. Easy to clean. No little parts to loose or break. Glass does not discolor like plastic. Lasts from year to year.

It's simply the best hummingbird feeder available and at a reasonable price. Easy to fill and easy to clean. Our hummers flock to the feeders at our house.

I was having a bee fiesta at my hummer feeders until I purchased two of these . They really do work. The bees are sad but I am happy.They really are the BEST !

We use feeders year around and clean them frequently. We do not fill them up, as it is best to fill them with just enough nectar to last several days--even fewer days in hot weather. The Best-1 Feeders are easy to clean. Mold can hide in fancier feeders, but not in the Best-1 style feeders.The red decoration on the bottle will wash off eventually, but don't worry, the hummers will find the feeder. And please don't add red food coloring. It may actually harm hummers.

I had two other feeds like this, but they were old.
So I found this on Amazon. I found that this was an easy transaction.
I got the product in timely matter too.

This feeder was recommended by the owner of our hardware store, and I'm glad I bought it! (We now have four -- two in front and two in back, so one little Napoleon bird can't run the others off...) The hummingbirds use it constantly, and there are very rarely any other critters who get into it. It is made of glass so it won't discolor (the red design shown in the photo can be peeled off the glass if you don't like it), and it holds a good amount of nectar/sugarwater.
The main benefit is how easy it is to clean!! The red base comes apart, which I've never seen on any other feeder, making cleaning it a breeze. I just take the unit apart, rinse well, let it soak in hot water with a couple drops of bleach, then rinse well and refill. Done!
Note: Hummingbird feeders do not need large yellow flowers to be seen by the birds; yellow actually attracts bees. I removed the flowers completely and the hummers find it easily. And for those who want to remove the perch, I'm sure you like to down when you eat your meals... :-)

Well I started with an "Ant Moat" which stopped the endless line of ants feeding and drowning in nectar. The wasps and bees occasionally walk all over the feeder looking for a way to the nectar but so far have failed. The humming birds seem to like it. The feeder we originally had for them was destroyed by a mob of raccoons. It didn't really have a perch but this one does. The drawback being that they walk around on top of it and their dropping build up. Often over the feed ports. Weekly cleaning with a hose isn't so bad though.
