one of the best R&B groups ever,
By A Customer
This review is from: Best of 1974-80 (Audio CD)
Ron Banks' falsetto is second only to Phillip Bailey. L.J. Reynolds' voice has so much power and his interpretation is always on point. Their vocals and harmony is simply amazing. L.J. has certainly been an influence on some of the new jacks. (think Sisqo of Dru Hill) "Door to your heart" is my all time personal favorite of theirs. These homeboys are definitely underrrated.

Detroit's "Other" Group,
By A Customer
This review is from: Best of 1974-80 (Audio CD)
The Dramatics had the moves but the sound...man oh man! Stax stuff is fantastic but some of this stuff blows your mind! Go pass on the disco stuff but the slow tunes (especially, "Be My Girl")could help any couple wanting to conceive a child. Ron Banks' falsetto and LJ Reynolds gutsy voice are TOO good! Some stinkers but on the whole...FANTASTIC!
