The first song I heard by David Benoit was his version of Linus and Lucy and right then and there I decided I just HAD to find a CD with that song on it! I like his version best, as he has really jazzed it up and he goes off on a tangent that keeps you listening and wanting more. I am a former pianist myself, and I love piano music. This is a great CD as it obviously shows David's talent over the years.

I LOVE piano music, I LOVE David Benoit, and I LOVE this cd! It has all his best hits from 1987 to 1995. The best songs on this cd are Every Step of the Way, Cast Your Fate to the Wind, Linus & Lucy, Musicians with Attitude, Letter to Evan, and Freedom at Midnight. This is a fabolous cd- it definitely belongs in the cd collection of any jazz piano music fan, like me!

EVERY SONG on this CD are awesome. David Benoit's jazz chord progressions are so intricate, and yet it sounds effortless. After you listen to this CD, it just might inspire you to sign up for some piano lessons... or at least go for a long drive along the beach. A totally excellent album.

This CD includes David Benoit's greatest hits. All of the tracks are nice. His songs never seem to go out of style -- just timeless. If you're just starting to listen to David Benoit or if you don't have his earlier CDs, I suggest you just buy this one CD -- it's David Benoit at his best.

This cd has my all-time favorite pianist's greatest songs, including Cast Your Fate, Urban Daydreams, Linus & Lucy, Freedom at Midnight, & countless others. If you are into contemporary jazz and like Dave Koz, Boney James, and Dave Grusin then you are in for a treat. This CD will make you in the mood for a drive down the Sunny Coast of California. I have no doubt that once you listen to this CD and not a fan of David Benoit, you will be looking out for his next release. I also recommend some of his early work especially the "Stages" album.

This is a great cross-section of David Benoit's work. I would kill to have his out of print "This side up" CD. It's also fantastic.

I really enjoyed listening this album the first time I heard it on the radio. It is definitely an absolute to have for one's CD collection. As I said above, you don't have to be a jazz lover to appreciate and relax to the smooth sounds in this recording.

There are artists I like more than David Benoit, but he's very good and this CD is tremendous. If you want a first CD for your collection of his, you can't find a better place to start than this, with great hits like "Every Step of the Way", "Cast Your Fate to the Wind", the beautiful "Searching For June", the great beat of "M.W.A. (Musicians With Attitude)", the classic "Linus And Lucy" and "Freedom at Midnight".

When I bought this CD, I had a couple of his more recent releases, but this instantly became my favorite. The sweet spot is early on, as you can probably tell from the songs I listed. Buying this CD is likely to spur you to buy earlier releases, which is always a nice thing for a compilation to accomplish.

Great mellow music! I recommend this CD for anyone that is a mellow Jazz lover particularly if you like Jazz Piano.
