Classic Crystal for True Fans,

Though not the original recordings that became radio hits, Crystal's brand new covers of many of her biggest hits are very well done here. The album is soothing and enjoyable, especially "Silver Threads and Golden Needles" and "When I Dream". Recorded in Branson Mo.

Newly recorded for this CD, Gayle is in better voice than ever. Musicians backing her are so good that these familiar songs get new life. She also sings "Always" and "For the Good Times" If you only have one CD by Crystal Gayle, this is the one to own. END

Nice song choices from a superstar,

The songs are enjoyable, the accompaniment is wonderful. But some of the keys Crystal chose to sing these songs in reveal a bit of strain to her. Naturally all voices deepen as they age, but there should have been a bit more thought given to this area. I have been a pure Crystal Gayle fan since the beginning of her career, so it was a bit disheartening to hear some of the efforts which do not come as easily for her at this stage. Otherwise, the song choices are good ones.
