Erotica is very often personal preference...some of the stories were red-hot while others were so-so, which is precisely why there are so many stories out there, of every genre and circumstance. As my open-minded father used to say,"Whatever floats your boat." I have seen many other stories that would have been a better choice for the collection, but at the same time, my wife didn't agree with me; and thought of my judgement on several of the "average" stories to be the ones that she liked and enjoyed. The writing was professional, straight or gay, submissive or dominant, leather clothes - no clothes, etc., and that is my point. We all don't like the same things or we would all be driving Toyotas, eating at Burger King or only reading Time Magazine. The erotica was stimulating and my blood boiled several times. Good writing - I liked it.

I just finished this book and I must say I was left a little disappointed. It started off great, the first few stories got my blood rushing and made me feel good then the middle totally fell flat on its face. The stories were dry and not very interesting. The end few picked up but didn't make a full recovery. All in all, this book has some good stories and more not so good ones. I wouldn't recommend it unless you like reading erotica that isn't so much action as it is just someone telling a boring story.

I am a huge fan of short stories, and as such, read a number of anthologies from the genre. This was a sub section in the genre I had not tried, and was interested in trying as I had heard good things about it.

I was not very impressed. There were some good stories and some mediocre stories, along with a few that really did not make a lot of sense. The writing, with several exceptions, was not as steamy as I had expected and left a lot to be desired from the erotic standpoint.

I can safely say if this is the best of the best, I won't waste my money buying it again. Different people will react differently to this collection, so if you think you're interested, you may want to swing by a bookstore and read a couple of stories before spending hard earned cash on this.

There were some stories worth reading in this 15th Anniversary Edition. Some better than others. As the book progresses the short stories seem to get more strange. I enjoyed some of the simpler ones. Among my favorites were, "Innocence in Extremis," "The Desires of Houses," (gets an A+) and "Horny." Why can't we get more elaborate stories such as "The Program"? "Pinky" was well played. Some of the other stories were too much to bear in favor of reading erotica for the sake of the genre. I also enjoyed "Are We Having Sex Now or What?" for the perspective that it offered.

I enjoyed reading this erotica book. It has a lot of nice stories in it.

Yes, not a bad book, some stories are better than others and the good ones are good. I must admit I read it in bits over a long period, but that is the beauty of the short story genre, you can pick it up for a quick thrill when you have a few minuetes to spare.
