Yes, these recordings aren't killer digital quality... on the other hand... we're back in the '70s now and we're dealing with REALLY underground stuff... BLOWFLY was the GODFATHER of porno-funk. He took popular tunes (mostly disco, funk, R & B and later rap) and ascribed mega-Rudy Ray Moore caliber lyrics to them... This was party music for the guys. What it surprizing when you hear these live recordings though is how tight his bands were, even though it was only novelty music. You could tell that even though this guy was one sick mofo he was in charge of the ship and genuinely was into the music.

The fact is that while the tracks sound like PA tapes the album is GENUINELY fun to listen to... sure, its not going to rattle all the windows in the neighborhood, but you will do strange things in your pants... get this CD, you'll have an overview of the sick and delightfully entertaining mind of BLOWFLY. Check out RUDY RAY MOORE'S stuff too !

I always loved Blowfly (and I am a woman) I think he was hilarioussssssssssssss but his best ones are missing

I don't understand People who say he is too nasty but the Love Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Chapelle, 2 Live Crew etc etc if it wasn't for guys like BLOWFLY, Redd Foxx or even Richard Pryor those guys would have no chance!!!!!!!!!!

could this be luke's father, nasty like all his songs, women will find this disgusting, this is not the best of blow by the way some cuts stand out like too fat to fu k, funny, love the beat, president blowfly i can relate it lets us know what really goes on in the whitehouse, not bad at all.if you like filthy nasty mouths this is 4 u.

This is ok but anyone listening to this first would want to know what the big deal is regarding Blowfly. Find the early stuff first such as Blowfly on TV. This CD is for hard core fans only.

This cd has no bass. It is so old school That Jesus drops some lyrics in it. If you are an old fan, looking for a drive down memory lane, please don't tell anyone you bought this and hide it to avoid much embarrasment.
