This review is from: Best of Anthrax (Recorded Version (Guitar)) (Guitar Recorded Versions) (Paperback)
As with most Hal Leonard Recorded Guitar Versions, this one is no exception in terms of accuracy. Good clean tabs, fingerings, chord inversions. This book is especially helpful when it comes to figuring out the guitar leads. On some of the older Anthrax recordings, Dan Spitz would multi-track or use a harmonizer on some parts of his leads. This made transcribing certain parts very difficult because of the layered guitar harmonies. One further note. As with all transcriptions, you must listen to the recording to pick up all of the little guitar nuances. My only gripe with this book is the song selection. In my opinion some songs included should have never made this book, while others should have been i.e. Time, In my World, etc...

An excellent book even if I was surprised that Indians, Antisocial, I am the Law, Potters Field and others weren't in there maybe if it sells well there will be a volume 2.
