I have thoroughly enjoyed this cookbook & unlike other cookbooks that I have purchased I have acutally made the recipes instead of just reading them!

Some of the entries in this cookbook seem a little odd (dishes from other countries, etc), but overall the recipes in this book are exciting and flavorful. Since these recipes aren't necessarily "local" food, some of them will be new even to Arizonans (of which I am one).

I was expecting that this book and its series of recipes would have proven recipe that are proven winners. I mean its Arizona and and there I have been to some good restaurants there. I was wrong. I have tried some recipes so far and they have been downright terrible or so so. I am a little surprised but I might try some more but it is a little disheartening when it is a best of and it comes out be "not the best of". Maybe I just picked the wrong recipes and need to try some better ones in the book. Beware of this book or some of the recipes.
