Armik puts an enormous talent for guitar into a rousing collection of rythmic pieces which delight the ear. You find yourself engulfed in glorius sound and emotion.

Almost every track is excellent. Good music to accompany web surfing or to add to the ipod.

Great music to have on in background while reading or dining. Medium kind of mood. Not too crazy..not too upbeat. Just right. You walk in a room....and say What is that? Its pretty. Subtle and inviting. I listen to it all the time.

I enjoy Spanish guitar music and recommend The Best of Armik to those who enjoy it also. I find his music lively and spirited yet it relaxes me.

I bought this as a gift for my father and he could not stop thanking me for it. I listened to it myself and the music is quite beautiful. The whole CD is top notch with excellent songs through out. The guitar playing is extremely clean with rich beautiful sounds. Although the music draws heavily from flamenco, it would not be accurate to say it is flamenco and would be unfair to ask that it sound like it, since it does not intend to be pure flamenco. Therefore, if you are looking for a traditional flamenco cd, look elsewhere. However, if you are looking for a blend of beautiful instrumental guitar music with a mix of many influences thrown in (like flamenco, jazz, greek and middle eastern), all with an exquisitely played guitar that is full of emotion and passion, you have a winner. I bought this cd and Gipsy Flame and both were without a doubt 5 stars. No one in my family had heard of Armik, but after listening to this cd and Gipsy Flame, my father quickly moved Armik to the top of his cd wishlist. I have thoroughly enjoyed the music myself.
