Thanks for the album. It wasnt really what I expected. I was kind of disappointed but it was not your fault. I expected too much I think. Thanks again.

5.0 out of 5 stars A weird, but great CD, May 22, 2004
I mainly got interested in the art of noise after hearing "Moments in Love" on the radio. After I heard that song, I wanted to know more about the artist because I really liked that song. I also own "The Ambient Collection" which contains some of the songs from this album like "Opus 4" only this version is different. But after I heard their music, I was suprised to see that their other songs sounded very different from Moments in Love. At first, I didn't like their music that much but the more I listened to it, the more I enjoyed it!

Art of noise plays really strange music and they use voices in all of their songs, some real and some from a synthesizer. Their songs are like rock sounds except Moments in Love, which is more of a soft, ambient song. I thought that every song was worth listening to and I think that everyone should listen to a few of their songs just to see if you like their kind of music.

The only proble is that this "blue cover" version is a rare CD and is very hard to find in most stores. I was lucky to be able to purchase a very good used copy from amazon. There is also a "pink cover" version of the CD but I bought this one because it had Moments in Love and because most reviewers said it was better. I hope you all enjoy the art of noise!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars The Art of Noise is weird, May 11, 2004

The Art of Noise was a techo-pop trio from England. This out of print version of "Best of" features mostly 12 inch versions of their singles. Not bad, if you can find it.

5.0 out of 5 stars This CD may have the version of "Moments In Love" you're looking for, January 21, 2009

For those of you that are looking for the version of "Moments In Love," that begins with a piano and gradually builds like a ladder and ends with what I assume is a saxophone, you'll find that version on this CD. The version of "Moments In Love," that I'm referring to was released in 1983. That particular version gives me chills everytime I hear it.

4.0 out of 5 stars The 1-2-3 rush of "Beat Box," "Moments in Love," and "Close (To the Edit)" make this CD worth the money alone!, March 20, 2011
The 1-2-3 rush of "Beat Box," "Moments in Love," and "Close (To the Edit)" make this CD worth the money alone...these 12" remixes includes ridiculous samples not to mention special guests like Duane Eddy playing guitar on "Peter Gunn", Max Headroom doing his thing on "Paranoimia" and Tom Jones golden throat on the Prince tune "Kiss".

This review is from: Best of (Audio Cassette)
My cousin chose Moments in Love for her wedding march. She's one of those artsy types and made it work well. I bought this cassette not knowing that the song was taken from an LP single. I would love to play this album on my iPod, so I fail to understand how Amazon can offer listening samples of each song on this album online and not sell the full album online?

Quick ship and item exactly as described. Made ripping songs to iPod much easier than trying to convert my old cassette tape.
