This CD has a style and lyrics which everyone will have one or more favorite tracks. Easy to replay, gets better with a few beers and friends. Not your typical anything you might have heard about Texas.

I am a longtime fan of Asleep at the Wheel. This CD features a good mix of their classic ballads and high octane western swing. There are no liner notes, but I'm pretty sure this CD features the classic lineup of Ray Benson, Chris O'Connell, Gene Dobkin, Floyd Domino, Reuben "Lucky Oceans" Gosfield, and LeRoy Preston. There obviously are a lot of other compilations out there, and this one only includes 10 tracks--but they all are very good. For less than two bucks, it's well worth it. Highly recommended.
