"Pampers Swaddlers are the best. They are expensive and hard to find coupons for, but the BEST. Luvs are ok but puff up when full and Huggies leak every single time we use them."
"Great wipes - we also like Huggies and Costco brand. No wipe warmer necessary (but our baby was born in the spring, so we haven't had to deal with cold winter nights yet)!"
"Very convenient for the diaper bag and any trips. Expensive, so it is a splurge for us, not an everyday thing. We bought a large quantity to get a better deal (4 8-packs)."
"Graco Pack N Play with changer BUT NO NEWBORN NAPPER (b/c of SIDS risk, according to the Baby Bargains book). We have it in the living room and use it for changing diapers and napping. The storage underneath is AWESOME. Our only complaint is that the mobile only spins manually. Ridiculous to have to stand there and push it. Either take it off or add batteries!"
"We picked this car seat for its reasonable price, positive reviews, and higher weight limit (baby can use up to 35 pounds). So far, so good but difficult to take apart to wash after baby peed all over it."
"Stroller base for Graco car seat. Reasonably priced, but NOT very durable. This stroller can't handle the smallest bump in the sidewalk. Relatively easy to fold up and put in the trunk."
"We have a slightly different model than this one, but the baby loves his Baby Einstein activity gym. The bright colors and hanging toys captivate him."
"The best blankets for swaddling baby. Perfect for warm weather because they are very lightweight. They wash up beautifully (they get softer every time I wash them) and they have the sweetest prints (animals, polka dots, etc.)"
"Great for babies with sensitive skin. My baby's skin didn't react to this at all, but broke out after we used the much more expensive California Baby line."
"Get a Fisher Price bathtub WITH A SLING. Baby lays right in it, suspended in the water, and you have both hands free to wash him. He loves it and feels very secure in the sling."
"AWESOME. It doesn't look like much and isn't as cute as many of the other things in the nursery, but it projects pictures onto the ceiling and plays pretty music. It has a timer so the music will stop after 15, 30, 45 minutes and you can choose from different songs/white noises. This was recommended by a friend whose babies loved it, and I am so glad I bought it. My baby is mesmerized by it."
"The only thing that made breastfeeding possible for me. A stigma surrounds the use of nipple shields but they might be the only solution if baby has problems latching on b/c of flat or inverted nipples. Give them a try before giving up on breastfeeding."
