1.0 out of 5 stars On second thought, kick Joey, June 22, 2004
There is no excuse for this. I'd rather listen to cassette tapes made from my scratchy old albums than hear Joey Molland butcher what I consider to be Muzak versions of classics. Joey is a talented guy and his solo albums, especially of late, will back me up on this. He's also shown all too much of a whorish nature when it comes to squeezing every dime out of something he was a part of thirty years ago. I'm amazed that no one has come up with a decent Badfinger box set with all of the attention being paid to these cash cows these days. Years ago there was a bootleg collection imaginatively titled "Badfinger - Unreleased And Some Released" that contained many songs that had never been released and some that had been released. (Oh, yeah. Hence the title.) That leads me to think that somewhere there is a bunch of old demos and alternate takes just waiting to be dusted off for a big Badfinger box set. Until then, content yourself with the real thing, as the elusive Ass album gets rereleased on June 28.

1.0 out of 5 stars This is NOT Badfinger!, February 8, 2004
This is certainly not Badfinger. Joey Molland gives versions of the hits and a few of his own Badfinger songs. None of these versions come anywhere near the originals in quality. It's really hard to say much positive about these recordings.

Buy the original albums instead!!
