This is probobly one of the best Barbershop CD's ever recorded. It has the best quartets, has the best songs, and has the greatest sound! If you are a barbershop lover, this is a must for you. It is an incredible deal for the price. I don't think I spent money on anything better! :)

You can't possibly get more good barbershop for the money than in this wonderful collection. The best quartets are represented here, and the songs range from traditional barbershop to contemporary parody. An absolute delight for any barbershop fan.

Wow. 3 excellent CDs for a wonderful price. This would be a great set for anyone wanting to hear some profoundly good barbershop. I've enjoyed listening to this set, and I wish I could sing half as good as these guys!

Words can't even begin to express how happy I was with this collection. The live recordings were absolutely perfect, with the only hint that they WERE live being the audience clapping and cheering at the end of each number.

I had a smile on my face that would not leave for hours after listening to some of the most beautiful harmony I have ever heard.

Defnitely would recommend this to anyone even curious about babrbershop.

This and the other CD's came within days. They were nicely packaged and were like new or were new. Just perfect.

I ordered this CD set wanting to get Barbershop quartet music. Unfortunately, that is not what I received. What I got was basically acapella jazz. Too much Manhattan Transfer, not enough real, boater hat, striped vest, toe tapping barbershop. Oh, a few of the selections were OK (at best), but most of them have very modern, jazzlike arrangements. I suppose this is the current state of "barbershop quartet" music. I am beginning to get the feeling that finding real, traditional Barbershop Quartet recordings is going to be difficult...

This set of 3 CD's is a compilation of the best of the top quartets from 1990-96. They are live recordings, and of excellent quality. For the price, you will not find a better deal on Barbershop Quartet music. The harmonies are tight, and really get under your skin. This is fun music. Enjoy!

Absolutely Awsome!! Any fan of Barber Shop music will love these CD's.

This is an excellent compilation of SPEBSQSA medalists from the early to mid 90's. I would have liked a bit more variance in the groups but it's still a decent cross section.

My only complaint is that there is a quartet doing the same song on 2 different discs. Admittedly they are different arrangements, but it's still a bit much.

I had purchased this for my 84-year old friend who missed hearing these songs. He loved the variety and enjoyed hearing them again.
