I thought this book would contain more than just what was published in Creative Keepsakes magazine.

From what I had read on other sites it also contained her sketches from her first 2 books. It is a good book, a sketch is shown and you get to see layouts using it as inspiration.

I'm only giving it lower marks because the writing describing this book is misleading. What you are really getting are sketches from past CK issues.

If you have all of those magazines our better off just clipping them out yourself.

This is a great little book to keep right on your scrapbook table when you need fresh ideas. I have Becky's two other sketch books (which are great) and this one is as well. Becky did 200 new layouts for all of the sketch ideas she has come up with over the years. I like that the book has tabbed sections for the layouts that correspond with the number of photos you are using. For example, if you have 6 photos there is a section that has many different layouts using 6 photos. Becky incorporates a lot of the new product trends in this new sketch book.

I received this book as a gift, and was very excited until I opened it. It is definitely a beautiful book with nice sketches. However, the title was misleading to me. It might (though it seems too small) contain all of the sketches she ever did but only one layout variation for each one compared to the actual original books with several variations.

The main disappointment to me was on each sketch on the book, they took out the photo measurements. When you are trying to fit several pictures on a page, these were very useful and big timesavers. I can't imagine why they felt it unnecessary to keep them in this volume. Just a tip if you already have the first two...otherwise a cute book for someone just learning about her sketches. Volume 2 still rates highest for me

Becky's previous books came out awhile ago with product that is hard or even impossible to purchase now and may include techniques that current scrapbookers find old. This book shows the same sketches but in a new way with up to date products -- it makes it more enjoyable to look through. Having all her sketches in one book is much easier instead of looking through the past two volumes and her articles in CK. This is definitely a great book to have for beginner and intermediate scrappers who don't have her other books. It's also nice to have for those who want an updated version of everything.

If you are a person like me who has numerous scrapbooking magazines and books laying around all over the house, this book is a great step in organizing not only your scrapping but your house! Becky has organized every sketch in tabbed sections by the number of pictures; and they are all 2 page layouts! Yah!! The book is also spiral bound for easy viewing while scrapping. Now I can get rid of some of my paper clutter and have 2 page layouts at my fingertips. More organization translates to more scrapbooking at my house ;)

I have both of her other sketch books so I was hesitant. I'm so glad I bought this one because it contains new layouts for all of her sketches and I love her style.

This book was a great find! I started seriously scrapbooking when my daughter was born but had a tough time with coming up with the appropriate layout for my pictures. I love this book because it's divided into sections with sketches based on the number of pictures you have to use for your layout. If you only have 2 pictures, there is a great spread for that. If you have 10 pictures, there is a great 2 page spread for that!

This book takes the guesswork out of properly laying out and balancing your pictures. I just use the sketches to determine where to place my pictures. I then pick out my papers and embellishments based on the picture theme. It's that easy! What used to take me hours to come up with a 2 page spread has turned into an hour (or less!). Thanks Becky for this awesome book!

A really helpful resource for scrapbooking. With tabbed categories on the side of the book, you can instantly go to the section you want, whether it's ideas for 3-4 photos or 14+!

It gives you a sketch of how to lay out your photos and then some examples (scans of completed pages) of how to implement the sketch.

I'd recommend the book.

I really enjoy this book. Becky's style is simple and awesome! What I like most is how the layouts incorporate different size pictures so you can use a few pictures or many pictures and get amazing results without the cluttered look.

I will definitely refer to this book when I am working on my own layouts!!

While I realize that the concept of this book is to give you sketches to inspire your layouts, when I buy a book or magazine for scrapbooking I like to see the page and read the journaling. This book is also lacking any design guidelines or instruction. It is simply sketches of layouts and an example of that layout on a scrapbook page. If that's what you are looking for, then you might enjoy this book. As always, Becky's style is clean and polished.
