Having been a HUGE Bill Cosby fan since the second I heard the man talk, I know that it has been a struggle to find the perfect compilation of his best work. I saw this one in the store, and bought it anyway (just because I didn't have it) and expected quite a bit, since all of his older released were fantastic. Instead, I got an album full of new stuff (which was still funny), but I could hear the trim work done. If we're going to get a CD, can we at least hear the entire track. For example, the track 'basketball' starts off "Basketball was invented...in - break here, you can hear the digital trimming - Springfield Massachusetts. Dr. Naismith." THat's the start of Basketball. I think, while it is still a good collection of Cosby hilarity, it could use a little work.

I absolutely love Bill Cosby, and to get a good sample of his various works, I highly recommend this CD. You get a taste of his different sides, in addition to toppling over in laughter! I have to say, this is a collection of his most wonderful works. I also recommend Bill Cosby's Wonderfulness. Buy this CD!

Bill Cosby has made some of the most wonderful music I've ever heard. I've only heard Hikky Burr and another song called Litte Old Man and The Cosby Show theme, the latter two aren't on this cd. It's almost imposible to listen to Hikky Burr in the car and not smile. It's sounds like a guy standing behind you at a butcher shop, mumbling about all the stuff he likes there and put to music, "Uhhhh... Ever had any smoldrin? ...mossenrisen? That's good! Mumble mumble... I know!" Those couple songs I've heard are filled with such joy and whimsy, they're wonderful. Hikky Burr is worth ten times the price of the cd, it's a very short song and makes me desperatly want someone to release cd's of all of Cosby's other music, I know records of them were relesed at one point before I was born.
Listening to Fat Albert Gets a Car is like a big hug after eating birthday cake and being tickled.

funny stuff but old so I have heard it before but Cosby is funny, i enjoyed it, and would recommend it.

Replaced my LP collection with this CD, the LP was worn out and wanted to hear his comedy in my car.

FOR CHRISTMAS, I BOUGHT MYSELF 10 BILL COSBY CD'S. WHAT A VALUE FOR THE BUCK. GROWING UP, WE BOUGHT LP RECORDS OF BILL'S ROUTINES. THEY DISAPPEARED OVER THE YEARS, SO I GOT THESE FOR LISTENING IN THE CAR DURING TRIPS AND COMMUTING. BILL IS ONE OF THOSE GUYS THAT NEVER GO OUT OF STYLE. HIS MATERIAL IS SUITABLE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY TO LISTEN TO. NO PROFANITY AND HE WILL MAKE YOU CHUCKLE. IF YOU NEED A "CHEER UP" PERIOD, BUY ANY OF BILL'S CD'S AND SIT BACK AND PREPARE TO LAUGH. I AM 61 NOW AND WAS 14 WHEN I FIRST HEARD BILL COSBY. HE ENTERTAINS WITHOUT OFFENDING. ENJOY.

I bought this cd for my son's Christmas stocking and he was very pleased to receive it. The material is classic Cosby and is very funny. However, the CD itself makes a "whirring" or "humming" noise in the cd player that is so distracting you can't enjoy the cd.

To be honest, this "best of" CD, is not really the best of Bill Cosby at all, there is no "best of" when it comes to Bill Cosby, he's absolutely hilarious and even if there was a "worst of" collection of Bill Cosby's stand up, I'm pretty sure it would still be hilarious. But this is a nice CD to own for any fan.

There are thirteen tracks beginning with Bill Cosby's strange but fun song Hikky Burr, and the next twelve tracks are of course his stand up. On this CD you'll get some hilarious stand up about Bill's opinions about dogs, his brother Russell, his visit with Ray Charles and much more. There also is a introduction to the CD in the pamphlet by A. Scott Galloway.

This is a nice CD to own and makes for a good gift to any Bill Cosby fan, I'd definitely recommend it.

My grandchildren love the cd. I do not have a DVD in my van so they listen to Bill Cosby. We laugh so hard. They know the routines. All their friends are jealous

I listen to Cosby whenever I need some pick me up. No matter how many times you hear him say them, I can't ever get sick of him. I just wish there is DVD or something because I am dieing see his face when he tells these jokes...
