5.0 out of 5 stars I Want More!
I wish this book had come out when I was thinking about liking both genders and I was very ashamed when I was younger. This erotica book lead me to buy the first in the series, which is also really great. Now I know I am not alone out there. There is a word for these sexy feelings: bisexual. I am telling you, there are so many ways to be bisexual. I had no idea. This is...

1.0 out of 5 stars Trivial and not very sexy
I love Carol Queen so I bought this, but, blah, not much to it. Lots of trivial, forced writing, a few good stories, none of it worth the effort. Jamie Gatto and Mary Ann Monaraj have to be two of the most overrated "erotica" writers around, and there's a few others in here working hard to join them. Maybe bisexuality just isn't that interesting as a theme, yet...

5.0 out of 5 stars I Want More!, July 13, 2002

I wish this book had come out when I was thinking about liking both genders and I was very ashamed when I was younger. This erotica book lead me to buy the first in the series, which is also really great. Now I know I am not alone out there. There is a word for these sexy feelings: bisexual. I am telling you, there are so many ways to be bisexual. I had no idea. This is not only enlightening about relationships, it is a very sexy book. I had to stop reading it several times and wake up my husband in bed.... if you know what I mean. If you think you might like to read bisexual stories, you will definitely love this book, and buy the first book too because it is EXCELLENT. I hope they make a #3 book.

Brent and Queen's second collection of bisexual erotica includes 28 stories that use a range of genres from historical, to contemporary, to fantasy, to surreal. There is some great sex descriptions here but also some rather sensual non explicit stuff as well. "Erotica" here also refers to the use of sexuality as a means of character growth and not just characters having sex. The greatest number of stories involve two men and one woman -- something I wasn't expecting. Several others do not directly show us bisexual experiences even though the main character may be bisexual -- this will probably disappoint some people. As with the vast majority of anthologies, there are always great pieces and poor pieces, but primarily it is a matter of taste.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Read I've Had in a Long Time..., January 30, 2002

BBE2 was just what the doctor ordered! After months of not having the luxury of time to read good erotica, I was lucky enough to get a copy of this sent to me by a friend. I'm hooked again and just ordered the first BBE and am anxiously awaiting it's arrival. I was thrilled to see Darklady - one of my fave writers - featured in this book. A fantastic collection of writers from a variety of backgrounds, interests and niches!

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Gender & Sexuality Diversity, April 1, 2002
This review is from: Best Bisexual Erotica - Volume 2 (Paperback)
This book has so much more in it than I expected. From gays and lesbians coming to grips with their own bisexual natures as well as many male-male-female situations, plus lots of unusual and diverse relationships and styles of relationships, I honestly have not seen such a diverse collection of erotica in one anthology. The writing is great. Each story is so different from the next. While all stories are sexual in nature, some really make you think. This is not your average erotica collection-- no-- it is a cut above! I can't wait to read volume three. Volume two is even better than Volume one, which I loved.

Leave it to Carol Queen to assemble such a talented assortment of writers. Though I am not bi-sexual, I picked up the book while staying at a friend's house and was stunned by the universal sexiness of these stories. I was familiar with some of the writers already (M. Christian always a winner!) but was impressed with newcomer Jamie Joy Gatto's piece. There were only one or two stories in this anthology that were fairly predictable, but the majority of them were definitely worth my time. I enjoyed this little romp enormously!

5.0 out of 5 stars Whether travelling over land or in your head..., February 5, 2006
This review is from: Best Bisexual Erotica - Volume 2 (Paperback)
...this collection just works. That's all there is to it. With a superior collaborative effort from a range of authors who, each and every one, never fail to tittilate, this book deserves space on any shelf. I've identified with many of the stories, and savored all of them. This book has been and will continue to be a favored companion on all my travels, and I can't urge you strongly enough to pick it up yourself and sample what it can offer.

1.0 out of 5 stars Dull and predictable, March 4, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Best Bisexual Erotica - Volume 2 (Paperback)
The editors seem to have confused "bisexual" with poly and threesomes, which shows a certain lack of imagination - that's every middle-aged white guy's "bisexual" fantasy, two girls and a guy. I'm afraid I found almost all of these stories either predictable and dull or else unreadable from the first page.
