5.0 out of 5 stars It contains some "serious" sports humor
Each sport has its' own language, culture and history, it is a nutshell in the conglomeration of human existence. 2.0 out of 5 stars A Little Dull
Not as good as I remembered, I bought one of his books in high school and loved it. Even though I think he rips off Gary Larson a ton, my friends and I thought it was funnier than Far Side. This book was not that funny.

This review is from: The Best of In the Bleachers: A Classic Collection of Mental Errors (Paperback)
Each sport has its' own language, culture and history, it is a nutshell in the conglomeration of human existence. The word "fan" is shortened from "fanatic" as some followers of a sport are more than a little bit on the nutty side. Steve Moore is also significantly on the nutty side, yet that tilt has great entertainment value, as his cartoons are very funny. Every page in this collection is a demonstration of this; Moore captures the essence of the odd side of sports, from both the participants and fan's perspective. Nearly every sport is the target of his parodies in this book, so if you are in need of some serious chuckles and enjoy sports, then this book will serve you well.

Arguably the most consistently funny panel since "The Far Side." A great collection. Viva en la bleachers!
