Having read the original Book of Lists years ago I had been looking for a book of equal value and interest. But this 'Best Lists' fails to produce the same quality of information. Other than being limited in its interests, the book is biased to information and lists stemming from England. There is too much other interesting information in the world....the sun set on the Empire long ago, and this book realizes the reasons for that. Putting all of that aside, there is still a vast amount of other fun lists here for any reader. So read on...

I have read many books of lists and this one is not at all the best. It has too much to do with English facts. Much of the book is about London, Cricket and other British subjects. Not much interest to those of us in the USA. Too many British references with which I am not familiar.
