it actually depends if the audio format is 7.1 then yes but other wise the dvd version is fine. Considering the price is not that much different go with bluray.

Problem is I got insider info from someone who works with Texas Instruments and DLP for HDTV and home theater projectors will be phase out soon due to the lack of sales.
