5.0 out of 5 stars Indeed, some of the Best Brazilian Jazz * * * * * * * * * *, February 1, 2003
This review is from: Best of Brazilian Jazz (Audio CD)
This album is well conceived (it could use some suggestions for Volume 2 though) with a balanced mix of modern and vintage Brazilian Jazz; some of the most recent cuts are:
* Mas que Nada/Leo Gandelman, * Bananeira/Bebel Gilberto, * Un Homme et une Femme/Ithamara Koorax, * Orfeu/.
Some of those great classics from the past are:
* Influencia do Jazz/Tamba Trio, *Batida Diferente/Sergio Mendes and * Amor de Nada/Luis Carlos Vinhas.
Overall, this CD is extremely enjoyable and I would absolutely recommend it to all those serious fans of Brazilian Jazz out there.
**P.S. You will be soon looking for albums by these people.

A great selection of the best Brazilian artists have to offer.

From this disc, one can expand by purchasing music from the individual artists, which are all excellent.
