5.0 out of 5 stars HEAVY, HEAVY, Groove.
They just don't make music like this anymore! Unless you are a fan of old-school disco with a heavy dose of funk, stay away from this cd. If you ARE a fan though...buy this compilation. Close you're eyes...You can just see the afros and platform shoes...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good but not great
Came across this compilation while looking for a song that is by Brass Construction. This collection is Ok, but it doesn't even have Do You Like It. If you are familiar with this band you know that you have to have that jam. However if you like BT(thats what we called them back in the day), you have to check out Brass Construction. They bought sound pretty much the same...

4.0 out of 5 stars Do it (till you're satisfied ! )..., October 21, 2005
This review is from: Best of (Audio CD)
In the 1970s, it wasn't uncommon to find a funk band that was entirely self-contained - all of the producing, writing, and arranging was done by actual bandmembers, not outsiders. This funk-disco group was formed by Jeff Lane in 1972 in Brooklyn NY. They started as David House Rockers in 1972 and later were called the Brooklyn Trucking Express. They were never totally self-contained; even its first major hit, "Do It ('Til You're Satisfied)," was written by someone who wasn't an official member: guitarist Billy Nichols. The group consisted keyboardist Michael Jones (later well known as Kashif). Nevertheless the Best of B.T has such a good track list and without them your funk collection is incomplete. On the whole this disc is something funksters should savor.

This is a great collection of their hits, but I happened across the BT Express Anthology, which appears to be more complete. I found it by searching for "BT Express" (not "B.T. Express") here on Amazon. Either way you get it, it is great music!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best of B.T. Express.., November 19, 2005
This review is from: Best of (Audio CD)
B.T. Express was a tight, tight band, from start to finish. They did it all themselves. "Do it 'till your satisfied" is their signature song (and sound). Get you copy and well, do it!
Five stars!
