Book Description

1926639030 978-1926639031 January 1, 2009

Culled from Canadian literary magazines and journals published in 2008, this collection of 50 poems is a handpicked selection of the best representations of the vibrant Canadian poetry scene. This distinguished volume offers both a convenient introduction to contemporary poets in Canada and a collectible yearbook for seasoned poetry readers, distilled by the esteemed editorial tastes of a new guest editor—an award-winning poet—and an accomplished poetry editor. Featured poets include Margaret Atwood, Anne Compton, Don McKay, P. K. Page, John Steffler, and Jan Zwicky.
