I had purchased this program along with Hoyle Card Games 2008. It was very unstable on my PC running with XP. It did not work on the mac. tried it on another pc running windows 98 also proved very unstable. Hoyle Card Games is a much, much better product.

The games included in this product are fun and interesting. They are the exact items I was looking for. Unfortunately when it was marked as "compatable with VISTA" there was a mis-statement here. I have had problems with all of the games and have not been able to download the fixes that will help with things like games freezing up, changing screen resolution, and duplicate images causing confusion within the game's play.

While the game is good, the use is hindered quite sharply by this VISTA program, and buyers should have been warned about this. I'm not sure I would have bought this if I would have known that I can't complete games and that playing is often very difficult because of double and triple images. Contacting the solution to problems site has only added to the difficulty and the patches have not worked.

I was a little concerned if this would work on my computer after reading the other reviews. My computer uses Windows 7 and this works great! This cd has all the old card games I grew up playing. I am very pleased and the price was right, too!

I have been wanting to purchase a collection of card games to play on my computer. I researched as best as I could between this and the Hoyle Card Games. The average review was a 4 stars. I thought that was a pretty good rating so decided on this one. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY. There is no way to set your preferences for play the games that allow preferences. For instance, Cribbage can be a short or long game. It only does the short game. It's hard to tell what pegs are yours or your opponent's. Hearts most always starts with the player who has the 2 of clubs. It does not in this game of Hearts. There is a man's voice who tells you to play if you don't go fast enough. There is no way to turn it off.

THIS IS THE GAME THAT I HAD BEEN LOOKING FOR,AND AMAZON HAD IT.THE DEALER PROBABLY HAD IT IN A REDUCED PRICE BIN,AS THE COST WAS WELL ABOVE THE REDUCED PRICE. HOWEVER,I AM SATISFIED WITH THE GAME,AND IT HAS A LOT OF CARD GAMES TO SELECT FROM.Best of Card Games (Jewel Case)

The only problem when I ordered it from Amazon, the review said it would work on Windows 95, because I was looking for games for this older model for games only. It does not work on Windows 95, so I believe that on the review that information should be removed. I had to install it on another computer. If this company has games for Windows 95, I really would be interested in purhcasing them. Thanks
