Yet another great collection of music by the Cathedrals. I really love this CD. If you have other Cathedral music, you may already have these songs since it is a collection from the Bill Gaither Homecoming series. Of course all songs are live recordings but very well done.

The Cathedrals were one of the premiere Gospel quartets during their heyday. This is a nice collection of some of their best performances. While fans may disagree with a song here and there, this is probably overall the best collection of the Cathedrals music available. Highly recommended if you are a fan of theirs or a fan of Gospel quartet music.

An excellent CD. I am still looking for the recording of "What a Savior" done around the late 1980's. Heard them in Houston, TX and bought the CD. I've been unable to replace that CD. I have two (2) Cathedral CD's that contain that song, however, they are both different and not the version I am looking for. Most all of their songs are great.

GEORGE IS (WAS) THE BEST TRUE BASS SINGER I HAVE EVER KNOWN. I HAVE PERSONALLY WORKED WITH HIM DURING SOME CONCERTS AND HIGHLY RESPECT HIS TALENT. MY FAVORITE ON THIS CD WAS # 18 WHICH FEATURED GEORGE (THANKS TO CALVARY).
ONLY THING I WOULD HAVE LIKED BETTER WAS IF THIS HAD BEEN A STUDIO RECORDING INSTEAD OF A LIVE PERFORMANCE.
CUT NUMBER 16 (JUST AN OLD SINNER SAVED BY GRACE) IS ALSO GOOD. THIS WAS WRITTEN FOR GEORGE SOME TIME AGO BY GLORIA GATHER AND DOES PRETTY MUCH TELL THE STORY OF GEORGE'S CONVERSION.
I MISS THE CATHEDRALS AND THEIR CONCERTS.

I've seen them on TV and at great distance during a concert.
This is the "good old days" songs. WOW!!!
