I've bought a few home remedy books over the years and they were all pretty useless, but this one is excellent. There is information in here I haven't seen anywhere else, and once tried, boy was I surprised at how well it worked. This is really sound, researched, rational information. I don't even put it away. It's always on my desk.

Great information coupled with believable testimonials from people. I'm a Type II diabetic who found the information very very useful and helpful.

i was especially interested in a book that talked about the Nettie Pot - and i found this to be one of the few books which did (even though it was not lengthy, it was concise and to the point), but again - i appreciated that it was in the book. i also appreciated that it had other up to date remedies for health and i would recommend this book - Best Choices From the People's Pharmacy.

I purchased this book for myself and was so impressed with the
information in this book and how it can help one understand his/her
own body and the ailments/diseases which can affect one's health.

Since my original purchase, I have purchased this book twice more and sent them as gifts to friends. They love this book as do I.

This book has lots of useful information on many common ailments. It gives an in-depth look at the pros and cons of prescription medications as well as "natural" and home remedies, and discusses the science and biology of many conditions in a way that is easy to understand.
Publication date is 2006 and am hoping that the author will soon publish an updated edition.

There isn't a day that goes by that I don't refer to this book for myself or someone else! It is a GREAT resource that is easily read and understood. The natural remedies are well worth trying. I think every household should have a copy!

The Graedons really seem to be able to put "everything you wanted to know" into small packages.

I love this product. It gives you many alternatives to choose from to best suit your health needs

I got this book from the local library. I laughed and laughed -- but didn't discount the advice. Before you buy, see if you library has a copy and see it you think it is worth the price. I did. I know some of the stuff in this book works. The other part of it may strike you as funny -- as it struck me.

Very informative. All the pros & cons & conventional treatments are discussed. The authors don't seem to be pushing any agenda except helpful information.
