Great fake book,

Frank's fake books are my favorites to use. He has been careful to be accurate on the original changes of the tunes, but his suggested alternate harmonies really "kick it up another notch." I have all the fake books that he published.

Frank Mantooth's five books of standards with original chords, as well as chord changes from Frank, are simply the best. I have many music books, but I seem to always reach for one of these. His choice of songs fits my tastes - rather eclectic and interesting! Additionally, the music is large enough that I can still see it without glasses, and also leaves room for any personal changes you want to pencil in. Get all five. I have them and have purchased two other sets as gifts.
