This CD is without a doubt Claude's best! All three cds are packed with fantastic tracks that exhibit many different types of electronica from around the world. My favorite track has to be track 10 on cd 2 called "60 Seconds" by Audio Deluxe.

On a side note though, I have heard this cd through a friend and not Amazon. I have had this cd pre-ordered at Amazon.com since September 19 at their pre-order price of $32.99, and I still have yet to receive it. They now are listing the same CD at a higher price that supposedly ships within 24 hours, however, they will not answer my questions as to where my pre-ordered cd is! I am thinking of reporting Amazon to the Better Business Bureau since they write that pre-orders are handled in the order that they are recieved, but this is obviously not the case.

What they should really say is "Pre-orders are handled in the order that they are received, unless we get an overwhelming demand for it in which case we will up the price and forget about those pre-orders."

I heard this cd from a friend during my visit to Dubai. It is a great cd; exactly what I expect from a great DJ, Claude Challe. I have heard virtually all these popular tunes before, since I have the entire collection from Mr. Challe, who I admire dearly for his wonderful works in the music history.

On the other hand I am very disappointed in Amazon's business ethics that they still have not mailed my cd, The Best of Claude Challe, which was ordered on September 1, 05. They raised the prices long after my order but did not stay honorable to their advertised price and raised additional $ 10. I contacted Amazon a few times but they still have not sent my cd, although they promised to do so two weeks ago (by 10/19/05), without raising the price of my order. My order is still pending......................disappointing, very disappointing from a company of this caliber.

Claude Challe's music is undeniably the best in this genre. I have tried hard to listen to other mixes, but I always come back to the old master. If you've never tried Claude Challe, this is a great way to introduce yourself to Claude Challe. The three CDs included in the box go as far back as Buddha Bar I. For those of you who already own every single Claude Challe CD, you'll be pleasantly surprised as this mix puts a new spin on previously released songs.

An album that will never age and appealling to all age groups. I wish I had this album years ago. A great fan of Buddha Bar - Claude Challe knows how to put a compilation of music that touches the soul, lifts the spirit and has you moving your body to the rhythms and sounds. Friends and family have asked "what is this music?" and as a result I have gifted this album to those I love.

No matter what the price of this CD, it's a great value - if you love all music exotic, exotica, exotic trip hop, pop trip hop, easy listening, chill, lounge and classic house - this has it all - and unlike a lot of lounge/chill collections that just throw in a lot of tracks - most of them nondescript - this collection is dazzling in its professionalism, coolness and true artistry.

This is the collection you'd put together if you could listen to 50,000 tracks from around the world and select the best 40 or so - for listening, for fun, for dancing, for chilling or for being cool - this/these CD is/are everything great.

Anything back to the original is always excellent. Now the latest Buddha's musics are not good like the old days. Keep searching for the global world musics may be worth for the next released musics. When mixing in a fast beat,don't forget to insert violons and cello instruments to keep the original and classic tapestry within to embellish the richness of instrumental musics.

Excellent production. Claude Challe creates a very very nice mood, mixing arabic, latin and electronic beat.
