This set like all Clifford the big red dog DVD's is great, but parents who have already bought many of the Clifford DVD's need to know this is not new material. This set has 5 DVD's in it that are also available individually. These DVD's are:"Doggie Detectives","Look out Clifford/Big Fun in the Sun", Rock N'Roll Clifford/Team Clifford", "Everyone Loves Clifford/Good Friends, Good Times", and "Clifford Saves the Day/Clifford's Fluffiest Friend Cleo". If you are like me you are better off finishing your collection separately, but is you are new to Clifford this set is a great start!!!

My 3 year old daughter had to spend 5 days in the hospital and having a 7inch portable DVD-player and this set of Clifford DVD's made our life much easier.
I like that, even though there are 5 DVD's in the cover, it only is the thickness of one DVD (Really nice to take with you without using up much space).

This is a very special show for me. When I was younger, every week day morning I'd wake up, eat my breakfast and watch Clifford the Big Red Dog and then go to school. This show would always put me in a good mood. Now, as a teenager I honestly still love Clifford the Big Red Dog. Now I know most teenagers don't watch Clifford but I personally think it's a great show for all ages. Clifford the Big Red Dog has positive messages for kids and I personally think its enjoyable entertainment for older viewers.
Thanks to Norman Bridwell (author of Clifford the Big Red Dog) and Scholastic we have Clifford the Big Red Dog, one of the best children's shows ever made. The cast for Clifford the Big Red Dog is perfect. Clifford is voiced by the late (sniff) irreplaceable John Ritter. (I mean really can you imagine another person voicing Clifford?) Clifford has three best friends, Cleo, (Voiced by Cree Summer) T-Bone, (Voiced by Kel Mitchell) and his owner Emily Elizabeth Howard. (Voiced by Grey DeLisle) Some of my favorite episodes from the series are "Tummy Trouble," "Mac's Secret Dog Club," "Screaming for Ice Cream" and I could go on and on. When I found out they're DVD's of Clifford the Big Red Dog I started buying them almost instantly. (I only have a few more to go) In this "best of" there are a collection of five DVD's. They have all been previously released but if you have not bought these Clifford the Big Red Dog DVD's already you should purchase this collection. (It saves you a lot of cash) Clifford the Big Red Dog DVD's usually have around eight to ten episodes on each disc. But I wish we had the episodes in their entirety. Unfortunately these DVD's don't feature all these segments in an episode, but all's not lost. In the bonus features I was relieved to see they still had a few Speckle Stories and Clifford's Big Ideas. (Hopefully one day Scholastic will release seasons of Clifford the Big Red Dog) The Best of Clifford has five discs contained in a plastic box which doesn't scratch the discs at all, and a pamphlet that features the episodes just in case you forgot which discs they're on. Since you might not know what episodes are included in this set I'll list them below. The first disc is the DVD Everyone Loves Clifford! And Good Friends, Good Times and the episodes included are; Jetta's Tall Tale Everyone Loves Clifford Clifford Grows Up Cyber Puppy Problems Welcome to the Doghouse A Friend in Need Stinky Friends Jetta's Friend Friends Forever Forgive & Forget The second disc is the DVD Doggie Detectives and the episodes included are; The Kibble Crook Doggie Detectives Who Moved My Bone To Catch a Bird Mac's Secret Dog Club The Truth about Dogs and Cats Good-Bye T-Bone Magic Is in the Air The third disc is the DVD Rock N' Roll Clifford! And Team Clifford! And the episodes included are; Dog House Rock Fan Mail Stage Struck Embarrassing Moments The Great Race Basketball Stories Short-Changed Lucky Charm The fourth disc is the DVD Look Out, Clifford! And Big Fun in the Sun and the episodes included are; Clifford's Charm School Best Paw Forward Clifford's Hiccups An Itchy Patch Camping It Up Hooray for Cleo Home Is Where the Fun Is Lights Out And the fifth and final disc in this "best of" set is the DVD Clifford Saves the Day! And Clifford's Fluffiest Friend Cleo and the episodes included are; Stormy Weather Islander of the Year Circus Stars Clifford on Parade Fluffed-Up Cleo Cleo's Fair Share Friends, Morning Noon and Night Two's Company The bonus features for these sets include segments from the television show like Speckle Stories, Clifford's Big Ideas and Real-Life Doggie Friends. Some extra features included are Trailers, (wow that's some special feature, oh brother) a tour of Birdwell Island, a who's who game and learning the Clifford dance. This is a very affordable Clifford the Big Red Dog collection and I recommend it.
