Under rated, what a pity., January 23, 2000
This review is from: Best of (Audio CD)
Simon Climie and Rob Fisher could really write songs. It's a pity they only released two albums, "Everything" and "Coming In for the Kill." This best of album does a fine job in featuring their songs, but I wished they also included "Never Let a Chance Go By," a song contained in "Everything." Otherwise, I have no complaints. "Love Changes Everything" is an example of Climie Fisher's talent, during a period when other obviously inferior boy bands like Bros and Brother Beyond dominated. They really should have deserved better. Rob Fisher passed away last year, another great pity. Rest in peace, Rob.

'biased view'!!, February 10, 2002
This review is from: Best of (Audio CD)
I remember, as a young man, buying "Rise to the Occasion"... "Love Changes Everything"... and "I Won't Bleed For You" - as 'singles'. I also remember wondering where Climie Fisher had disappeared to... shortly after then!! Simon Climie is now Eric Clapton's 'producer', and I have to say that this is for a very good reason... he is a hugely talented man - just listen to Clapton's new album -Reptile!!!!! I loved Climie Fisher in the 80's, and this album is the best 'summary' of their music, available today. I listen to it v.v. regularly, and I love it each time I do so!!!!!! (

His voice is calming, like gentle water., February 23, 1999
This review is from: Best of (Audio CD)
Climie Fisher's voice has a calming effect like the playful water of a gentle stream, with lyrics that flavor the world around the listner with fruity colors. It has the effects of putting listener's emotions in a virtual realityof positive feelings.
