Although the Florida State University Marching Band performed all the songs (You can hear how passionate they were on Track 11), they seem to not have full fervor on their rivals' songs. Either way having 33 different college fight songs on one disc is great, especially for the price. It's great for both tailgating at the stadium and at home with your buddies.

This CD is one of the better ones for fight songs. They sound like you'd hear them on game day. Another CD by the Univ of Michigan band has a concert band sound instead of marching band sound, so I like this one better. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars for me is a few missing songs, and I'd truly would like to hear each song played by that school's own band not a different band.

Good quality but not up to the University of Michigan Band. I have never met a person from Arizona State who can actually sing the fight song.

I own an entertainment business and needed this for a school event. These are great versions of school fight songs! Everybody wanted to know where I got the recording of "their" college band playing their fight song. Definitely a great purchase!

The collection of college fight songs is adequate...some what limited in scope. Afew more songs could and should be added.

I am college football fanatic. I love everything about the game - the schools, the pageantry, the fan passion, and the traditions. This nice collection is helping me get into the college football spirit in early August. I would have made it 5 stars if had a few more but still a nice collection.

There is no place like Nebraska, like no other place I know. Where the girls are the fairest, the guys are the squarest, of any place that I know? There is no place like Nebraska, good ol Nebraska you. We'll stick together in all kinds of weather for good ol Nebraska you. GO BIG RED! GO BIG RED! GO BIG RED!

As you can see, I'm a huge Nebraska Cornhusker fan, have been my whole life and will be my whole life. That part about me will never change. But make no mistake, no matter my school, no matter what colors I wear on Saterday afternoons in the fall, I am a college football fan. I love the sport, I love everything about it. The fans, the environment, the tailgating, the players, coaches, schools, rivalries, and stadiums that make it the greatest sport ever played. But what would college football be without the marching bands that take to the field every Saturday to show off their team spirit and make their respective schools proud? And what would these amazing bands be without their school fight songs and the roar of 80,000 fans screaming at the top of their lungs?

Needless to say, it wouldn't be nearly as fun. In comes this gem of a CD, putting together 33 of the countries best fight songs, including the fight songs for the University of Notre Dame, Michigan, Oklahoma, Texas, USC, Florida, FSU, Miami, Ohio State, Alabama, and of course my beloved University of Nebraska. Plus many more. All the fight songs are preformed by the Florida State University marching band and they do a fantastic job at it. Sure, I would have liked to see all these songs preformed by their respective marching bands, but I can't take anything away from the terrific performance FSU put together for the creation of this CD. If they'd added Hail Varsity from Nebraska this would have been the greatest CD ever, but I'll settle for No Place Like Nebraska.

No matter what University you cheer for, or what color you paint your body on game day, fight songs are an important part of college football, and any fan worth his salt owes it to himself to know these songs. GO BIG RED!

Replay value, high.

This is a great CD that includes the big names in college football. We love it!

I thought this was one of the more classic tunes for the fight songs, being that they were performed by the Florida State Marching Band.
My husband enjoys this disc, I liked all the different University Fight Songs.

This CD includes UCLA's "Sons of Westwood" as a great fight song. Apparently the people who put this CD together are unaware that the real name of that song is "Big C," that it has been a fight song of the University of California, Berkeley since 1914, that it was written by a Cal student, and that it was outright stolen by UCLA in the 1960s. If they are so ignorant about this song, I can only wonder how much they have gotten wrong with respect to the songs of other schools on this CD.
