5.0 out of 5 stars Great Collection, October 19, 2011
This review is from: The Best of the Commodores: 20th Century Masters Collection (Audio CD)
for my money and belief Michael Jackson aside, Lionel Richie is the baddest cat to lead a Band and then embark on a Solo career where he even surpassed his Band days into a even fuller and better solo career. these songs though here with the Commdores are timeless and still are on point. Great Songwriting, Production and arrangements. story telling at its best. this is a Great introduction to the Commodores and they should have a Box Set as should Lionel Richie and he should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice. that is how I know that that particualar event is phony and a bad joke when an Important Musical Icon like Lionel Richie ain't enshrined for all of his great work in a Band and then solo then you know that thang ain't Legit. anyway this is a must have compilation.
