About the Author
Robert West grew up in the mountains of western North Carolina, in rural Henderson County. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His poems have appeared in venues including Poetry, Southern Poetry Review, Pembroke Magazine, Blink and The Carolina Quarterly. He teaches English at Mississippi State University.
