Before ordering this toy I read several reviews that stated that the blocks don't hold together well. For us they fit together and held together almost as well as Legos. The only part that was iffy on "fit" was one of the 1x1 square headlamps. That's probably 1 of about 100+ parts that went into the tank. My son and I have assembled the tank which took at least 30 minutes due to the number of steps and having to locate the parts. Also, I read some reviews state that pieces were missing - all parts were there for the tank. The instructions were all visual as you'd find with other major manufacturers and fairly easy for an adult to assemble. My 4 year old loves the tank and the little figures that were included. He's able to modify the tank and had already reconfigured it to his satisfaction.

Overall we're very happy with the purchase and there is no way we could have got anything comparable made by Lego for this price. I would guess something comparable from them would be more than double the $16 I paid for it. We would likely consider another product by Best Lock based on our experience so far.

They are just as good as LEGO brand. My 12 year old didn't have a problem with putting them together and he likes the tanks!

I dislike writing one star reviews because many of the one star reviews on Amazon are by people that misunderstood the product.

I purchased this as a Christmas present for my son, who is familiar with and has no problem building with Legos.

This gift lead to a very frustrating Christmas afternoon. All the pieces were included, but they do not lock together well. "Best-Lock" is very much a misnomer - my son was not able to play with any of the items without the locks falling apart.
The instructions were clear and we will likely use them to build the same items out of logos...but these blocks are useless unless you plan to glue them together.

Don't bother buying this.

I got this for a gift, and when it was opened the quality was obvious. They were not sticking together as well as Lego, or hold together. I would not recommend this product.

My boys like to play with it. It took some help from me to make them and some of the pieces were missing.

Not high quality. My 5 year old got very frustrated with snapping the pieces together. I assembled the set myself - pretty sore fingers afterward. Just seems junky when you're used to Legos.

Directions not well written out! And the peices just popped off the other peices. I have put many lego toys together and this just did not work out for my son!

I ordered this for my nephew for his birthday. The box says that it contains all the parts to make everything shown on the box. WRONG! It was missing a lot of parts to include the tires for all the vehicles, two of the three men were missing and about 100 pieces total missing from the box. Couldn't find out who to contact to try and get the missing parts. Not worth it for the money to purchase when missing that many pieces. What's the point in trying to build the jeep and other components when the crucial pieces such as the tires are missing? Wouldn't recommend this for your child.
