This compact book is a compilation of quotes by Dr. Edward Deming the father of modern quality management. The quotes run the range of immediately understandable to subtle to provocative. I use this book for two purposes. To stimulate my own mind when I need to be inspired, and as a source to teach others. I like to use one or two of these quotes when I give a presentation because they help reinforce the message and hold the audiences attention. I have shared this book with others and I find it makes a great gift to anyone responsible to lead an group in improving their quality.

Dr. Deming is the guru of management systems. All current "flavors of the month" are based on Deming principles. This book is a quick quote to add to a presentation or a reminder of his techniques. Quick read (an hour?) but a lively resource.
